FarmerKhalil Agri-Class & Farm Tour Series

The FarmerKhalil Agri-Class and Farm Tour Series is a hands-on agricultural training program designed for aspiring farmers, current producers, and anyone interested in building a profitable and sustainable farming business.

This unique experience combines practical farm demonstrations, structured learning, and real farm tours, giving participants the opportunity to learn directly from experienced farmers and industry professionals.

Participants will gain real-world knowledge, practical skills, and valuable networking opportunities while visiting some of Jamaica’s leading agricultural operations.

The Agri-Class Series Includes:

🐐 Goat Dairy Agri-Class and Farm Tour – Cabra Ranch
Learn the fundamentals of dairy goat farming including farm setup, breed selection, feeding and nutrition, milking practices, herd health, and dairy product opportunities. Participants will tour Cabra Ranch and see a working goat dairy operation in action.

🐔 Layer Farm Start Agri-Class and Farm Tour – HMH Farms
Designed for individuals interested in egg production, this class covers poultry farm setup, housing systems, feeding programs, bird management, egg production, and how to build a profitable layer farm. Participants will tour HMH Farms and observe commercial layer operations.

🐐 Breeding Boer Goat for Genetics – Unity Boer Goat Farm
This advanced class focuses on improving goat genetics and breeding programs. Participants will learn about selecting breeding stock, genetic improvement, herd management, and strategies to increase the value and productivity of their goat operations.
